Cross-team project on the metabolomics of kiawe leaves under water stress

Preliminary testing to see if water stress affects kiawe chemistry.  Our kiawe sites at Kiholo Bay are the basis for the comparison--half our sites are in areas where we suspect the kiawe has access to ground water and half are upland and likely have only rain water input.  If successful, we would involve CYBER in modeling and DEW in outreach.

Now testing samples for metabolomic compounds.

We need to see if there are different compounds at the low and high water sites.
